Friends of Dinham Millennium Green Trust helped to raise thousands of pounds towards the Green and the Mill. They help with running costs, fundraising and social events. Joining is simple, and so worthwhile…

The
Millennium Green and the Mill on the Green offer a pleasing combination of
leisure and education. The Trust also owns the Castle Weir and a downstream
strip of woodland reached via the arch of Dinham Bridge. Inside the Mill is a
small community meeting room
which can be hired for study or suitable activities.
We also have the
popular Green Cafe.
The workshop within
the Mill is currently occupied by a clock repairer.
Visits to
the Mill and Green are free of charge, although the cafe is commercial.
With the exception of the
office space at first floor, the whole of the building can be set up as a River
Interpretation Centre, utilising the following facilities:
-
The meeting
room and lobby on the first floor
-
The Water Wheel and its related machinery and equipment will be open to
inspection.
-
The production
of mechanical and electrical power by the Water Wheel may be
inspected in the control room adjacent to the wheel, for general interest and
educational purposes.
-
By special
arrangement with the cafe proprietor, refreshments and educational groups
or guided visitors tours will be catered for.
