Ludlow is accessible by both road and rail, and lies roughly midway between Shrewsbury and Hereford. There are two main car parks in the town centre and the smaller one lies approximately 200 yards from the Millennium Green. Parking is available on many roads, and a Park & Ride service runs between Ludlow Eco Park and the town centre.
From Ludlow town centre: Look for the castle entrance. The road to your left via Dinham Bank entails a five-minute walk to the Millennium Green and Mill. Similarly a footpath to your right skirts the castle and brings you to the same destination. Your starting point is very close to the Tourist Information centre.
Most small market towns have parking problems. It is always worth recalling that fortified Ludlow was built to keep people out, but you are most welcome!
Telephone enquiries regarding access and parking should be directed to Ludlow Visitor Centre on 01584 875053.
